I hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday season blessed with
your family and friends. Thanks to hundreds of generous Goodyear employees as
well as area sponsors, more than 50 families in the Goodyear area had a
brighter Christmas through our Fill-A-Need program. And Goodyear police
officers brought smiles to dozens of children’s faces during Shop with a Cop.

This “Council Corner” column is a new feature now
appearing in this and every future INFOCUS issue. I’d like to thank my friend
and newest councilmember Joanne Osborne for suggesting that council members
have an opportunity to communicate directly with you. Keeping our
constituents informed is a high priority for us.
